Plug 290 (P/N: 802-0031) is a custom test lead used to connect D&V Electronics’ alternator and voltage regulator testing systems and the DUT (Device Under Test). It connects the terminals of the voltage regulator to the measuring circuits of the test system. D&V’s Standard 12-Pin White Connector is used on one end of the plug with the OEM proprietary plug on the other end. Each plug is to be used with a specific type of regulator and is not universal. Technical Specifications
Plug 290 has the following terminal list. The Lamp (L) terminal which is located at pin 11, Sense (S) terminal which is located at pin 4, the Feedback (FR) terminal which is located at pin 7, and the Ignition (IG) terminal located at pin 6. The proprietary OEM plug used by Plug 290 is the Denso Round Plug which is compatible with Ford, GM, and Japanese alternators and regulators.
Plug 290 is compatible with the following test systems: JBT-3, JBT-5, JBT-5P, JBT-6, AST-10, all ALT testing systems, VRT-10, CVT-7A.
If the plug you are looking for does not have the white connector but has a green one (for example from the JBT-1 testing family), please search for plugs starting with part number 822.
