Probe 210-1857 can be used on D&V testing equipment with custom Auto-Connection Fixtures. These probes are used to make an automatic connection to the DUT (Device Under Test) terminals when the test is initiated. Probes are usually used in fixtures for rectifier, diode, and voltage regulator testing systems although other D&V testing equipment may utilize them.
Probe 210-1857 has the following specifications:
Operating temperature of -55°C to 150°C
Current Rating 20Amps
Average Probe resistance <10 mOhms
187 mil (4.75 mm)
Probes are specific to each test system and tooling and come in various shapes and configuration. Each probe has important properties (size, material, tip shape, and so on), and are manufactured for a particular application. Failing to use the proper probe may result in inaccurate measurements and even damage to the equipment or DUT. Please ensure you are using the proper probe.
For more information on how to find the right probe for your test system and about the different probes D&V uses and offers, please reference the Spare Part List of your testing equipment and it's mechanical and control drawings.
Probe 210-1857 is comparable with all of our alternator test systems, starter test systems, solenoid test systems, diode and rectifier test systems, and voltage regulator test systems.
